Who is Dr. Evans Rono?

Dr. Evans Rono (DER), founded "DERGermanConnect, Connecting with Data & Science" in Berlin, to serve as a focal point where individuals, businesses, and organizations can access personalized guidance and expertise.

  • Kenyan national with a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from Humboldt University zu Berlin, supported by the DAAD Scholarship (2013-2017).
  • Research experience at the Max Planck Institute of Infection Biology, Vector Biology Unit focusing on genetic structure and malaria transmission.
  • Diagnostic industry experience in Berlin addressing global challenges using genetic engineering and Data Science.
  • Proficient in Python, R, SQL, ML, and Tableau, transforming biological data into strategic insights.
